Casino Hold'em turns poker into a direct contest with the dealer rather than a player-versus-player tournament. There is no shared pot or bluffing, because each participant is trying to finish with a stronger five-card hand than the dealer.

Our live casino poker lobby currently lists OnAir's Casino Hold'em, with a croupier dealing each round on camera. Each hand opens with an Ante. You receive two hole cards, the dealer takes two, and three community cards arrive face up straight away. At that point, you make the hand's only decision: Call or fold. Calling costs twice the Ante; folding gives up the Ante and ends the hand.

After the Call, the turn and the river complete the board and the dealer's cards come face up. The dealer needs a pair of fours or better to qualify. Without it, the Call is returned and the Ante still pays. When the dealer does qualify and your hand is stronger, the Call pays even money and the Ante rises with hand strength, through a flush, a full house, four of a kind and up.

Casino Hold'em is currently the only poker table in our live dealer hub, with three optional side bets available alongside the Ante: Bonus, Red or Black and Casino Razz. Bonus uses your two hole cards and the flop, beginning with a pair of aces, while the other two settle on card colour or a qualifying low hand. The Ante and each optional side bet follow their own paytable, so check the rules panel before placing them.

Standard rankings apply, built from the best five cards among your two and the board's five. With the Call priced at twice the Ante, the weakest holdings are the main fold candidates: low, unpaired hole cards that sit poorly against the flop and offer little straight or flush potential. Check the posted minimum and maximum before joining.

Online live poker in Canada does not tie you to a desktop. You can open the table in a compatible phone or tablet browser whether the device runs iOS or Android. Deposit limits and self-exclusion remain available in your account settings under the player-protection rules attached to our licence.

Do I play against other players in live casino poker?

No. Your Ante and Call are settled against the dealer's hand alone. Other participants can join the same round, but their decisions have no bearing on yours, and nobody can raise you out of the hand.
